SATC 2 with the Gurls..

It was sooooo over the top! The clothes..the shoes..the places (NYC and Abu Dhabi doo!)..the guys (Lawrence of my Labia!!hahahahah!!) and even the butlers(Paula Abdul?! LOL)! Perfect movie for me and my TKC gurls..

Thanks to Sausan's status on FB for an open invitation to watch SATC 2 and my bold action to actually comment saying that I'm in..a few days later last night..SATC2 it was! (oh my..have I come to this?commenting on someone's FB status considered bold???sigh..) Together with Nenn, Syimi and Pie..we went to create mayhem at GSC One Utama! (so drama..expect nothing less from watching SATC ok..)

I promised myself I wouldn't get sucked into the SATC frenzy..but being with the girls..it felt like our film show nights back in high school which we used to have. We literally made the cinema hall like it was our school hall! The laughing, the "OH MY GOD!!"..so nice...

So ok..now back to the story..

It's your typical every girls' fantasy story..the clothes, the shoes, the glamor and most of all the girlfriends! But the storyline was pretty cool and kinda strike home for me. The dilemma that Charlotte was going through (minus the nanny) is exactly what I'm feeling right now and the solution she found with the girls made me felt ok to have some 'me time' and not feel guilty that someone else is handling my baby girl.

It's funny, it's sad..take out the glamor of the characters..it felt like it was telling the story of my life right now. If only I had the same clothes and shoes that Carrie has!

How many times have I repeated them?? Clothes and Shoes?????? All I can say..it's the PERFECT movie to watch with your girlfriends...the guys won't understand..Plus they had the Australian Rugby team taking a dip in the pool!!hohohoho..cameraman focus BAEKKK punya!hhahahaha!

I had fun..now I'm feeling a bit more like myself again....Thank you babes!!I know your next movie is the Twilight Saga: Eclipse..I'd have to pass on that one (refer previous entry)..but the next chick flick that strikes me..I'm in!

*If only suami would take me to Usher's concert tonight..sigh..he's no Mr. Big..but he's still my suami*

Dan tak ketinggalan jugak hasil kena 'bakar' oleh cik rawkstar kita...Topik untuk hari ini adalah 'Cita-cita'. Bagaimana dari sebuah artikel di Kosmo menjadi inspirasi kepada cita-cita baru kami? Panjang ceritanya..maka tak perlu di ulas.

Kenapa saya mahu menjadi mereka???

Yang berambut perang itu merupakan pewaris hotel terkemuka dunia dan yang berambut coklat itu pula merupakan seorang anak kepada peguam terkemuka di Amerika Syarikat (peguam OJ Simpson). Mereka adalah lebih dikenali sebagai 'Socialite' kerana mereka terkemuka bagaikan seorang artis, tetapi tidak mempunyai bakat dalam bidang lakonan, nyanyian mahupun sebagai pengacara atau ahli sukan.

Hahaha! Cita-cita aku yang SANGAT BIMBO! Tapi tentu seronok menjadi seperti mereka..kedua-duanya mempunyai rancangan realiti tersendiri, menjadi duta untuk pelbagai barangan atau produk (maka mempunyai banyak penaja untuk menaja cara hidup mereka walaupun duit bapa mereka dah cukup nak kasi makan semua orang yang sedang kelaparan di Afrika!) dan sentiasa dijemput untuk menghadiri pelbagai majlis-majlis sosial di seluruh DUNIA!

Jika saya adalah mereka, hari-hari saya hanya perlu bersolek (itupun saya akan mempunyai ahli solek persendirian untuk menyolek diri saya!), pergi membeli belah (kemungkinan besar mendapat pakaian secara percuma kerana saya adalah seorang iklan yang bergerak..) dan bersuka-ria sepanjang masa....

Jika saya ingin melancong, Samantha Brown sudah menawarkan diri untuk menjadi rakan baik..Sekiranya saya menghadapi masalah papparazzi..Horatio Caine kan kenal saya..tiada masalah!! 

Oh bahagianya hidup ini!!

Hollywood Bug??

Yesterday I had another dream. I was at a Hollywood award party. But it was held in KL (my dreams never makes sense ok!) So there I was..all glammed up, red carpet quality, mingling with the A-listers. Then I saw him..Jack Nicholson.

I approached him and said his rendition of the Frank Sinatra's song was just amazing..(where in the hell did I get that point pun I don't know!) And then, he looked at me and took my arms into his. He said "Let's get out of here"

We ended up going for sushi at Sushi King mane tah. But I said to him, "I can't eat sushi, I'm pregnant"

"It's ok, just keep me company"

Pastu tah macam mana..kami dikatakan berskandal!hahahahah!

Honestly, rather than dating Jack Nicholson, I would rather go out with Sir Richard Branson

Kacak kan orang tua ni??hahahahah! Back in the days when I was still in Uni, life was hard. Sometimes it was even a struggle to figure out whether or not I would be able to afford to pay for my lunch. So fantasizing about a better life was my favorite daydream. In fact I always daydreamed that I was Paris Hilton's other sister..hahah!

Aaaanyway..there was this one time a rumor spread through the faculty. That there was someone, a rich man 'recruiting' any willing college students. Sugar daddy laaaaaa...and because of that rumor, it triggered another of my daydreams!hahaha!

I use to have a list.. IF I was ever to have a sugar daddy, only these men would ever be considered..

2. Richard Gere
3. Shebby Singh
hahahahahha! A LOT of my friends laughed at my 3rd choice but hellllloooooooooooooo!! Have you seen this man?He's hot!hahahahahahahahha! One of my girl friends is a stewardess for Air Asia, and she once served Shebby..and hooooyeahhh..she agreed with me. Shebby is one HOT old man!hahahah!

But honestly..no matter how hard life was for me, I would NEVER submit to letting an older man 'sponsor' me just so I could have nicer things. It's like selling your soul to the devil...

Anyway..there is no point to this post. I'm just bored and I just wanted to get on Rawkstar's nerve..

Last Call to board the train

Puan S recently arranged a hen party for our soon-to-be bride..Azie. So she rounded up all the girls to help join in the fun-la..

It was a private POLE DANCING class......

Never having my own hen party or been to one, I didn't really know what I was getting myself into. Plus, since I was still on my maternity leave I thought "Heck! Why not...I'm not doing anything else anyway. Plus the exercise will do me good..."

BOY! Was I soooooo WRONG!!!!

It was a 1 1/2hour class (more like FOREVER) for beginners. Our instructor was this petit, super toned chinese lady by the pole name (oh yeah...we got to have our own pole names..kinky ehh??) of Nana. It was at this studio called Vivavertical/Talenthub in Hartamas. You can get more details about this place at Azie's blog linked here.

There was supposed to be about 10 of us for the class, but only 6 of us made it to the class on-time. The others was stucked at a wedding in Putrajaya...smart move for those tardy girls...

First we had to sign this form declaring that we are not suffering from any physical injuries and that we agree to the consequences from doing this without holding the place liable for any injuries that will occur due to this session. I should've known that this would've meant bad news..But I happily signed the form and even became witness for Farah.

Then it began.............

First we ooohhhh and aaaaahhhh with amusement at Nana's moves. And we followed..we turned, swinged (spelling?!?), flicked our hair and did all those Pussycatdolls moves..It was then I realised.. I DON'T DO SEXY!..Well..maybe back in the days when I was still in Uni and skinny as hell...some minor Sexy..But in front of a HUGE mirror with 10kgs more than I used to be..Believe me..

But some of the girls nailed it..especially our very own bride-to-be and the mastermind herself. We took some pics after the session (as usual!) and the tardy girls finally turned up..

Then came the WORST part....

Walking down the staircase from the studio!! It was 2 storey flight of AGONY!! My legs felt like they were betraying and torturing me at the very worse!!

Proves to show that Pole Dancing..Is a REALLLLY good workout..

But despite the pain (which I continued to suffer throughout the week)..I had SOOO MUCH FUN with the girls. And also despite me not being able to do SEXY..a little sneak preview to suami that night got him excited *wink*

I just might consider joining a pole dancing class one of these days..who knows..I just might get my sexy back *cue Justin Timberlake's Sexyback song*

A note to the girls though..I know it was a lot of fun..But PLEASE refrain from showing off our newly acquired techniques in the LRT ok?

The Elements

My nephew recently introduced me to Picnik. This unsavvy techie aunt of his has always wanted to edit her pics but is sooooooooooooo unsavvy that she's never been able to do what she always wanted to do.

And this is my first masterpiece..:P

Thank you Daniyal (he is on FB..OMG..the age gap is catching up but my line is getting shorter!!) To those of you who are 'dummies' like me when editing pictures, check out the webbie. It's SOOOO easy because if a 'dummy' like me can do it..anyone can do it too..

Looking at my first masterpiece..lead me to my second masterpiece and missing my uni days..The Levi's ad that I posted is a favorite pic of me, sopi, beeps and erni. But these pics are also a major fave of mine.

Now each are beautiful and intelligent women..Like we used to be beautiful, intelligent and crazy girls! Like I always like to say.."Jangan persoalkan perkara yang dilakukan masa zaman muda remaja!!" (maybe there is still a little more craziness left in us..*wink*)

sigh...uni days were truly some of the best moments in my life. It was hard at times..but it was also the time I had the most FUN and created the BESTest friendships..

a big SHOUT OUT to the rest of my gurls which has made it possible in creating such amahzing memories..Ida, Elsa, Azie, Farah and Suzie..and not forgetting my one and only cik Lina-norhas..Thanks girls...

As we get older..it gets so hard to make friends like we used to. Sometimes new friends that we make are so rigid because as we get older, we tend to be more careful in what we do or how we act. With my gurls, we've had moments where it would be considered embarassing or too obscene for an adult to act..hehe..but we still do it whenever we get the chance to hang out with each other (which is tooooo few to our liking..sigh..work less girls!!we need to hang out more!!) and ALWAYS make a big scene whenever or wherever we are!! Not caring a bit what the ppl around us is thinking..(very inconsiderate..heheh..but we don't care..heheh!)

And the things we talk (or rather gossip) about! hahaha!! whoever eavesdrop when we're having our 'conversations' is doomed to feel embarassed hearing the things we say!!!heheheh!!
